J$ – Songwriter, producer, and engineer Julie Slonecki is a multi-instrumentalist currently based in Atlanta, GA. She’s been writing, recording, and performing music professionally for the last 5 years, building a catalogue of songs, unique soundscapes and beats. Earning a music composition degree in 2011, Julie is capable of writing for all genres and includes influences from funk to classical in her own sounds. While often writing in the pop genre, Slonecki strives to set her sound apart with unusual arrangements, unexpected chords, and thoughtful lyrics. She writes, performs, and produces all her own material in her home studio, usually with a glass of whiskey in hand. She has released three full length albums, her most recent, “Apogee”, was released November 18, 2015. Slonecki has opened for national acts and played in a variety of bands as front woman, bassist, and drummer. Her most recent project, “SLONE”, is set to release their first single September 13th, 2018.

D$ – Dustin Williams (26) has been playing music for half his life, first picking up the bass at 13 after realizing his tendency to focus on the low-end groovin of such players as John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), and Larry Graham (Sly and The Family Stone). He is a self-taught musician, only taking a few classes and lessons to learn more about music theory and its applications. He spent his early years of gigging and writing in various local bands and getting involved in his high school Jazz Band, men’s chorus, and musical plays. Since then, he has also picked up guitar and drums as secondary and tertiary instruments. Throughout the years, Dustin has continued to hone his craft playing and writing for various bands and projects as both a primary song-writer as well as a “gun-for-hire.” His career has taken him around the country (Vans Warped Tour 2012), across the pond to the music scenes of England and France, and into the homes of millions of Americans via the 2010 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon.

When he is not rocking the stage with SLONE, he can be found teaching at a music school, performing and recording as a hired musician, playing/writing with his long-time band theSAGAS, or creating in his home studio.
